Art to covet Food to enjoy Space to relax
The Beetroot Tree
is to be found in the heart of the old centre of Draycott, a southern Derbyshire village.
We are a nationally renowned contemporary art gallery for exhibitions, workshops, events, exciting art and craft materials, a framing service and a stylish and relaxing cafe.
The Beetroot Tree has been established since 1999 and are to be found in and around a beautifully restored Jacobean barn dating back to the late 1600s, still featuring a host of the original wooden beams.
Our regularly changing exhibitions portray contemporary art, decorative crafts, fine textiles and unique furnishings, promising to offer something new for you to discover on every visit.
We source unique individually made artworks by named artists giving exhibitions which are displays of excellence and distinction in our five separate exhibition spaces.
The gallery offers a variety of workshops providing you with an opportunity to discover and nurture your own creativity.
During your visit take advantage of our cafe with its' lunches or just relax with a slice of homemade cake and fairtrade coffee (or tea).
The serene atmosphere extends further into a beautiful garden revealing nature's textures, colours and shapes to offer a picturesque atmosphere through the seasons.
