Payment
The Beetroot Tree can accept payment at the Gallery by cash or credit/debit card. The Beetoot Tree can accept payment for goods through the website secure gateway by credit or debit card. If you wish to secure a purchase by sending a cheque to the Beetroot Tree for an item available for sale through the website, please contact us to ensure the artwork, art supply or workshop place can be reserved for you whilst the payment clears.
Delivery of work
We will dispatch the goods by the most appropriate delivery method within 4 working days except for items which are in our 'Main Gallery Exhibitions', in these cases we will despatch the artworks within 7 working days after the end of the exhibition.
Workshop Bookings
Please note balance of any payment owing becomes due on the day of the workshop.
If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 3 weeks prior to the workshop to receive a refund of any monies paid less the admin fee (usually £20 per person per workshop unless othewise stated).
Cancellations made less than 3 weeks in advance of the workshop will be charged at the full rate and payment taken from your card, unless we are able to fill your place. In this circumstance you will be refunded any monies paid less admin fee (usually £20 per person per workshop unless othewise stated).
Deposits may be accepted on full day courses if bookings are made more than three weeks in advance of the workshop date. For bookings made less that three weeks before the course start date, full payment will be required at time of booking. Deposits may vary depending on the overall cost of the workshop.
Workshop places cannot be be reserved without payment.
In the instance of non-attendance without full payment, an invoice will be sent requesting the balance of payment within 14 days.
Refunds for online purchases
If you are not completely satisfied with any work bought from us apart from items specially ordered or commissioned, you can receive a full refund by beginning the process of querying us and therefore the artist about the work within seven days of receipt.
In case of a return you are liable to pay the costs of return shipping.
Please also note that the cost of shipping one way might be different from the shipping costs the other way. This is not regulated by The Beetroot Tree but depends on third party services and prices.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the work to us in its original condition and of insuring it during transit, except where the work is faulty or the wrong work has been dispatched.
As goods are also being offered for sale at the gallery and other events, there may occasionally be times when the item has been sold before being removed from the website. In such cases we will contact you to see if alternative goods or a commissioned artwork is an appropriate alternative or if this is not what you want we will refund the order value to you.
For reasons of health and safety, and in line with best practice policies, earrings are not refundable.
Commissioned and Ordered Artworks
Ordered and Commissioned goods are those ordered to be made to your specification.
The order will be confirmed with both the Beetroot Tree and the Artist upon payment of a deposit of 50% of the total value.
Goods ordered to your specification are non-refundable except in the circumstance that they are unfit for purpose or outside the original description of the order.

1 Application and Termination

3.2 You agree that the content of this Site is made available for you in your personal capacity and for your personal use only, and not for any commercial use. You agree that you may only download the content of this Site onto one computer hard drive, but not for commercial use, and that any other use of the content of the Site is strictly prohibited.
3.3 You agree that you will neither solely or jointly with or on behalf of any other third party directly or indirectly copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, publish, display, commercially exploit or create derivative works of the content of this Site.
3.4 You agree that you will not change in any way any proprietary notices from material down loaded from this Site by you for your non commercial personal use.

The trade marks and logos and service marks used and displayed on this Site are, unless otherwise specified, the trademarks of The Beetroot Tree. No rights are granted to use any of them without the written permission of The Beetroot Tree

5 Limitation of Liability
5.1 With the exception of death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of The Beetroot Tree and to the fullest extent permitted by law you agree that The Beetroot Tree shall not be liable in negligence, contract, tort, statutory duty or in any other way for any of the following:
5.1.1 Any loss or damage caused of whatever nature arising directly or indirectly from or in any way related with the Site, or
5.1.2 Your reliance or use of any information or material obtained either directly or indirectly from the use of this Site, or
5.1.3 Any purchases or orders that you make for goods and/or services either indirectly or directly through this Site, including any damage for loss of profits or loss of business without limitation, or

8 Use of the Site

12 Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with English law and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute, suit, action, arbitration or proceedings which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions provided that The Beetroot Tree has the right at it's sole discretion to commence and pursue proceedings in any other jurisdiction or jurisdictions whether concurrently or not.

This site uses a cookie to link a user with their session. However, this is not saved on the user’s computer but only in the browser and is lost as soon as the browser is closed. No other use is made of this cookie.
